Practimo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Practimo has no accounts and never sees your practice content. To understand how the app is used and to fix bugs, we collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics. This policy explains exactly what we do and don't collect.

What we collect

Anonymous usage statistics and crash diagnostics — never anything that identifies you. You don't create an account or give us an email (Practimo has none), and we never receive your routines, notes, or audio.

Your practice data stays on your device

Your routines, sessions, notes, and audio recordings are stored locally on your iPhone. They're included in your device's standard iCloud backup, which is part of your own Apple account — we have no access to it. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

Microphone

Practimo asks for microphone access only to power the tuner and to let you record your own practice clips. Audio is processed on your device and is never uploaded to us or any third party. Recordings stay on your phone until you delete them.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the United States) to collect anonymous, aggregate analytics about how Practimo is used — which features are opened (such as the metronome, tuner, and practice sessions) and how often, plus basic technical context like app version, device model, and approximate region. This data is tied to a random identifier, not to you: we don't collect your name or email, we don't use the iOS advertising identifier, and we don't record your screen. We never receive your practice content or audio.

Crash diagnostics

We use Sentry to capture crash reports and technical error diagnostics — error details, device model, OS, and app version — so we can find and fix problems. These reports contain technical information only, never your practice content or audio.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pro upgrade is processed by Apple's App Store and by RevenueCat, the service we use to validate and restore purchases. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous identifier to your purchase so it can be restored on your devices; it does not receive your name or email from us. See Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for details on their handling of transaction data.

No advertising or cross-app tracking

Practimo contains no third-party advertising and no cross-app tracking — no ads, and no use of the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not sell or share your personal information; the analytics we collect are anonymous and aggregate.

Practimo Tuner & Practimo Metronome

Our two free standalone apps — Practimo Tuner and Practimo Metronome — collect no data at all: no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, and no in-app purchases. Any preferences you set (such as tuning calibration or click volume) are saved only on your device. Practimo Tuner uses your microphone solely to detect pitch on your device; the audio is never recorded, uploaded, or shared. Practimo Metronome only plays sound and does not use the microphone.
